Waleed AlGhamdi is Director of Sustainability at ROSHN Real Estate Company, a master real estate developer powered by the Public Investment Fund (PIF) of Saudi Arabia. He is responsible for planning and executing the company’s sustainability agenda. He has a wide range of experiences in the AEC industry focused on the sustainability domain in the US and KSA. A member of the American Institute of Architects, he’s a licensed architect in the states of New York and Louisiana, and served on the AIA 2030 Working Group subcommittee, tasked with building and managing the path to net zero energy buildings by 2030. He is interested in net zero energy buildings and communities and validation of sustainability metrics for the built environment.
