Tolis Chatzisymeon is the CEO and Co-founder of Nomitech Ltd, a software company specialising in Estimating and Pre-construction Software for the Construction, Oil and Gas, Energy, Nuclear and Utility Industries. Nomitech today is involved in some mega-projects across the globe, has customers within the Forbes 200 list and places substantial R&D investments on BIM, developing its own BIM engine, as well as AI and Machine learning. Tolis is also a member of the committee that develops the ICMS – International Cost Management Standard, which aims to set a global standardization on Cost and Carbon reporting and benchmarking and President of the AACE Greece and Cyprus section.Having a Civil Engineering degree from NTUA and an MSc from the University of Texas, Tolis has gained international construction experience working with large contractors such as Balfour Beatty, and J&P and running a construction SME doing Design Build buildings, bridges, and roads. Since the founding of Nomitech in 2007, Tolis has been focusing on creating an Advanced Cost and CO2 Estimating Enterprise Application (CostOS), and making BIM more accessible to construction professionals.
