Scott Henshaw is Group Head of Design & Engineering at Red Sea Global (RSG). He joined the company in October 2017 as Executive Director of Development and is responsible for overseeing the management and delivery of RSG’s project designs. He is committed to innovation that helps to uphold the Group’s stringent standards for quality and sustainability and fulfill its corporate vision.
One of Scott’s biggest accomplishments prior to joining RSG was to supervise the design and construction of the Trump International Golf Club Dubai, along with its necessary infrastructure and amenities. This project in Dubai, UAE, was part of Damac Hills, a 42 million-square-foot lifestyle community with more than 7,000 residential units.
He also worked as the Director of PMO (Project Management Office) for Jumeirah Lakes Towers in Dubai, successfully managing the design phase of a 711-meter tower that was to serve as an iconic gateway for South Dubai. In addition, he led project management for the Uptown Tower, an 81-story tower with commercial office space, a five-star hotel, and branded residences, all designed by Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architects.
Scott earned a Master of Science degree in Construction Management from Heriot-Watt University in the U.K. and a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design in Landscape Architecture from North Carolina State University in the U.S. He is a certified member of the Project Management Institute, the American Society of Landscape Architects, and the Construction Management Association of America.
