Patrick O’Callaghan is the founder and CEO o FZE and has been at the forefront of Modular Construction internationally for over 20 years. During this time he has completed over one hundred suOff-Site Engineering Solutionsccessful Modular & Prefabrication projects in Europe and throughout the GCC both as module sub-contractors and more recently as Modular Engineering & Design Consultants. Patrick has been an integral part of the new wave of off-site construction technologies and has made significant contributions to policy, systems, innovation, direction and growth within the industry.

An innovator & inventor receiving a distinctive research thesis and successful industry patents, both in the field of modern construction technology. Patrick is qualified with a B.Sc. Engineering (Civil/Structural) & M.Sc. in Business from City University, London.

Patrick was awarded the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2004 for innovation in the field of Off-Site/Modular Construction, and the Enterprise Ireland Strategic Business Planning and High Performance Start up Awards in 2003 and 2005 respectively.

Patrick has set up operations and run businesses in Jamaica, Ireland, UAE, Qatar, Oman & Saudi Arabia as general contractor and specialist module manufacturer and now runs Off-Site Engineering Solutions consulting engineering and management advisory business specialising in prefabrication and modular construction systems based in Dubai.

Off-Site Engineering Solutions commenced operations in the Middle East in 2008, with clients Saudi Aramco, KACST, Red Sea Development Co; ALJREIC, Voltas, ADNOC, ALEMCO, DSI, DuBox & EFECO amongst many others. Through KACST, Patrick has been advising the KSA Government for the last 4 years on the development of a fully automated housing production system that can be scaled throughout the Kingdom.
