Mohammad Shalan

Eng. Shalan brings 30+ years driving large-scale, multi-million-dollar portfolios and programs. An author, AI and PPPM standards contributor, and conferences' advisor, he now consults on digital transformation, PMOs, and AI strategy while serving as SVP Capability Building at Project Management Association (PMA).

Eng. Shalan, has three decades of proven track record in managing, evaluating and aligning large-scale multi-million portfolios, programs and projects in complex environments.

Eng. Shalan, is the editor of a book titled “Innovative and Agile Contracting for Digital Transformation and Industry 4.0” published in 2021 and contributing author in the bestselling book “The Evolution of the PMO” published in 2025.

He is also an advisory board member of multiple conferences, judge of the Global Project Excellence Awards and a member of the PMI global development team who developed the “Standard for AI in PPPM” published in June 2026 by PMI & ANSI.
