Leila Al Suhaimi is a Saudi Australian sustainability and investment leader with over a decade of experience in real estate, architecture, and design across Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Australia. She is the Regional Sustainability Head at Retal Urban Development Company, where she launched the firm’s first sustainability unitand ESG strategy, strengthening investor confidence and advancing key sustainable projects.
Leila has played a pivotal role in aligning sustainability with investment attraction, representing Retal at international forums including MIPIM Cannes, the St. Petersburg International Investment Forum, and the JP Morgan Conference in New York. Within the company, she has drives measurable impact, targeting delivering 40% of sustainable developments by 2030.
Educated in Queensland, Australia, Leila holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Design in Interior Design (Honours) from QUT. She is a LEED AP, WELL AP, and Mostadam AP, registered with the Saudi Council of Engineers, and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Sustainability at Harvard University. She is passionate about building for generations and advancing Saudi Arabia’s sustainable future.
