Driven by his passion for innovation and technology, Ghassan positively impacted numerous high-value projects throughout his career. He has over 25 years of progressive experience in successful design, build, implementation, and deployment of integrated digital technology solutions. He is an ambitious and optimistic business leader with proven abilities in strategic planning, managing projects, improving efficiency in operations, team building, interpersonal skills and effective communication.

Ghassan currently holds the position of Smart City & Innovation Director within Mohammed Bin Salman Nonprofit City, where he is applying his design thinking and innovative vision to one of the most prestigious smart destination in the world. Before joining the City, he held a CTO position with Huawei ME, where he successfully led Smart City solutions across government and private sectors, nurtured Huawei’s ecosystem and developed strategic partnerships with global technology companies delivering joint GTM solutions.  Prior to joining Huawei, he was the Project Director for Smart Dubai.

Ghassan holds a Masters’ degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from a US university and completed several accreditations and certifications in his domain expertise.
