Founded on the vision of a world where technology helps to unlock productivity within the construction industry to address the affordable housing crisis, Mighty Buildings is a stealth-mode VC-backed startup based in Oakland, CA. We apply 3D printing and automation to print prefabricated modules for Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU), SFH, and low-rise Multifamily structures complete with insulation and finished exterior. Leveraging the world’s first UL-listed 3D printed component and the first State approved design incorporating 3D printing, our modular prefab factories help residential developers build 10x more units with the same labor force. This productivity gain coupled with shorter delivery times unlocks profit margins for critically needed entry-level homes which are increasingly harder to justify building in the traditional way from an economic standpoint. In addition, our technology is sustainable at its core - zero waste, uniquely support customization and almost unlimited architectural styles via a software-driven design process.
