Dr Will Cavendish joined Arup in February 2018. He is both Arup's Global Head of Digital Services, and Leader of Arup’s global network of Advanced Digital Engineering Groups. In these roles he is responsible for leading Arup’s work to support clients to take advantage of the major transformation in their world that is being brought about by digital and other advanced technologies. While at Arup, he has worked at senior level with clients around the world, and in sectors as varied as property, cities, aviation, rail, highways, energy, and technology.
Previously he was Applied Strategy Lead at DeepMind, responsible for understanding the groundbreaking developments taking place in Artificial Intelligence, and working with key partners to apply them for public good in areas such as health and energy. Before that he was a senior civil servant, including roles as Director General for Innovation, Growth and Technology at the Department of Health; Director General, International Energy and Climate Change at DECC, and head of the Prime Minister’s Implementation Unit, working directly to then-PM David Cameron.
As a result, he has wide-ranging experience of achieving change in areas such as digital, health, education, energy and climate change, cybersecurity, growth and innovation. When in government, he also led the creation of the world's first network of What Works Centres, set up to provide proper evidence on effective uses of public money, and pioneered the use of transparency and crowdsourcing in policy making. Will has also served as a World Bank economist; has lectured at Oxford University and Imperial College; has a doctorate in economics; and was made a Companion of the Order of the Bath by the Queen in 2015.

Abdulmajid Karanouh with a background in Architecture (BSc), Computation (MSc), Engineering (MSc) and Design Communication (PhD), he has developed over the past 20 years from a passionate specialist in complex architecture into an inter-disciplinary design lead in the built environment. His journey includes working on some of the largest masterplans in the world and on many record-breaking and award-winning projects involving high-profile organisations in Europe, the Middle East, and South East Asia. He is especially focused developing context-considerate integrated urban solutions and innovative buildings systems using BIM-augmented algorithmic thinking and computation. Sam Stacey is Challenge Director – Transforming Construction at UKRI. He is leading the Transforming Construction challenge, a £170 million research and innovation investment, matched by £250 million from industry, to create new construction processes and techniques for building manufacture in the UK. Linked to the Construction Sector Deal, the programme includes funding for research, a new construction network and the creation of an active building centre and innovation hub.
Before joining UKRI, Sam was Director of Innovation, Industrialisation and Business Improvement at Skanska UK, a Trustee of the Building Research Establishment, and Chairman of the National Platform for Construction. Sam has also worked for Wates Construction and Buro Happold Engineering. He is a Chartered Structural Engineer with an MBA from Henley Business School and degrees in Civil Engineering, Architecture and Philosophy from Imperial College and Cambridge University
Badr is the president of PMI KSA Chapter. He has 20 years of experience in the Project Management field within Saudi Aramco. Badr was recognized as PMO Leader of the year by PMO Global Alliance, which is the world largest community of PMO professionals. David Glennon is the Digital Delivery Director for The Red Sea Development Company (TRSDC) , a closed joint stock company wholly owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund. He oversees the development and implementation of new and innovative digital delivery techniques for a new international luxury tourism destination set along the Red Sea as part of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
Bringing more than 25 years’ experience in the construction industry, he oversees the use of pioneering technology to improve the design and construction process, introducing automation and data driven insights to deliver fast-track construction, design for manufacture and assembly, and enabling the Smart Destination strategy through a ‘Digital Twin’ to enhance customer experience.
Previous positions include Managing Director of DoubleD.io, a digital accelerator for the built environment, and Head of Digital for Arcadis in the UK, leading their digital programme and the delivery of platforms, innovation, data and analytics and ecosystem thinking. As Director of Digital Project Delivery at AECOM, he was responsible for creating and implementing digital strategy across Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa. David is a Builder, Civil Engineer, Project Management and Development professional who has worked in real estate for more than 30 years. In his career, he has been fortunate to work in a variety of organisations across a range of countries and economies.
Currently, he is the Chief of Project Delivery of the SAR 60b Amaala project in Saudi Arabia, responsible for leading a team of 1000+ construction professionals to execute the Amaala vision.
Amaala is set to become an uber-luxury destination on the northwestern coast of Saudi Arabia and is part of the Kingdom's 2030 vision to support the expansion of Saudi Arabia’s leisure and tourism industry.
Prior to joining Amaala in 2019, David was the Chief Development Officer at VinaCapital, managing the development of their portfolio of hotels and resorts, residential communities and commercial developments throughout Vietnam. Also in Vietnam, he was the Chief Executive Officer of REFICO, a Vietnam-focused Real Estate developer.
David is also a McKinsey & Company Alumni, where he was the Infrastructure Vice President in the Asia Pacific. He joined Mckinsey from Mace Group where he spent more than 10 years in a variety of roles including the Regional Director of Asia Pacific. From 1997 to 2005, David worked for Multiplex Constructions completing several iconic projects in Australia, South East Asia, and the UK.
Prior to 1997, he worked for several public agencies in Australia in the infrastructure and building sectors, while studying for his degree part-time.

Mike Paul is the Managing Director of the Europe, Middle East and Africa(EMEA)business operations at InEight, leading marketing and sales efforts while defining and driving the growth of digital solutions that fuel customer success. Directly preceding his current role, Mike was Vice President of Industry Solutions, acting as the liaison between clients in the industry and InEight’s sales and development team in over 20 countries on five continents. Mike has also served as Vice President of Solution Engineering, Director of Industry Solutions, Director of Global Channel, Sales Engineer and Sales Executive, all at InEight. Previous to his time at InEight, Mike held multiple leadership positions throughout the construction industry including managing all the infrastructure work on one of the nation’s first BRAC development projects at Fort Carson Army Base, negotiating large low-income housing projects in Africa, developing global supply chains for U.S. government contract needs and running his own construction company. Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Arizona, and an MBA from Averett University in Virginia.
